Chris Xistouris has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He started his career at the very bottom as a construction labourer and worked his way up to a Builder and Developer for his own projects. Using his on the job practical experience, he plays a pivotal role in every aspect of the projects he is involved with, from site acquisition all the way through to construction. Chris has diversified business interest in the Construction, Hospitality and Technology industries.

He is passionate about working with likeminded people that share the same values and goals. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and extended family.

Adam Liw has 10 years+ extensive experience in managing large scale development and construction projects. Proven track record directing project-wide operations, contracts negotiation and administration, cost controls, and boosting efficiency and effectiveness.

He is actively involved in managing project deliveries from DA to OC, for both development and construction aspects. Constant liaison with various stakeholders, not limited to shareholders, governments, consultants, subcontractor, and suppliers.

He holds a builders licence, a Bachelor Degree in Professional Accounting and a Diploma of Building & Construction.

Mohammad has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry and started out as a Licensed carpenter who went on to also become a Licensed builder. Under his leadership he constructed multiple medium density projects and prides himself on loyalty and getting the job done. Moe is known as an old school tradesman who has a hands on approach and his greatest asset is understanding the immediate and future needs of the business and providing cost effective solutions to meet the companies construction goals. Whether it’s assembling the troops or tackling the most challenging task Mohammad’s relentless charge, attention to detail, and customer service is the very best day in and day out.

Gary started his career in the 1970s back in Perth as a Licensed Carpenter and working as a clerk of works. He then obtained his Builders License and began working in both the construction of commercial and residential buildings, delivering a magnitude of projects in his long career as a Foreman and Site manager. In his time with Pheonix, Gary is dedicated to delivering our ValueSuites Hotel Projects and continues to work closely with both the construction and Hotel operations side of the Hotel business to deliver and grow our Projects and pipeline.

Arun Arunasalam (CPA, MIPA, FCMA, CGMA, GAICD) is a qualified accountant with over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance and consulting services gained from working in senior management roles with Big 4 accounting firms and major software companies such as Solution 6 and MYOB.

Arun has provided accounting and consulting services to a range of businesses from SME’s to international organisations operating in diverse industries such as construction, professional services, healthcare, IT, manufacturing and charities.

Arun has professional memberships with CPA Australia, IPA, CIMA (UK) and Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mutasem combines a strong understanding of design and the practical aspects of construction detailing with his experience and educational background.

Mutasem began his career in construction as a draftsperson with a Diploma of Building Design, he then went on to complete a Bachelor of Building Design Management (Honours).

Throughout his career he has been involved in a wide variety of project typologies and scales ranging from local government to private practice including small to high density residential projects, as well as commercial and industrial projects.

Simon Xistouris is a hands-on Director with more than 28 years of leadership experience.

After spending some time in the corporate world, Simon founded his own IT consulting business 1999. In 2013, he acquired IT managed service provider AC3 from the NSW State Government and in 2018 acquired ASX listed public cloud services provider Bulletproof Networks. All three businesses have been rolled into the AC3 brand, of which Simon is the CEO.

Simon maintains diversified business interests (Technology, Construction & Hospitality) giving him a varied perspective across a number of industries.  A “shaper” in it for the long term, who enjoys spending time with customers in the field making a real difference.
